CCA (Copper-Clad Aluminum) and CCS (Copper-Clad Steel) wires really that bad?
The answer is NO, but there is disadvantage of CCA and CCS versus Copper. Depending on the wire application, for example USB 2.o cables, data will run perfectly with CCA and CCS, but not power. So an USB cable use for printer will need minimal quality cable and an USB cable use for charging a cell phone will need maximal quality cable. Link Depot USB cable is made with CCS wires for data and high gauge pure copper wire for power combined to achieve functionality and price efficiency.
